The Australia Day Ferrython is one of the most popular and iconic events staged on January 26 - and you can be part of the action!

Strictly limited free tickets are now available for members of the general public to be on one of Sydney’s beloved Emerald Class ferries as they race through the waves in this hugely popular annual tradition.
Ferrython sees four of the famous green and yellow vessels colourfully dressed as they speed from Fort Denison, around Shark Island and back to the finish line under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The ferries participating in 2023 are Catherine Hamlin, May Gibbs, Fred Hollows and Bungaree.
Tickets include access on board one of the ferries for the race, a complimentary lunch pack and spectacular views of Sydney Harbour on our national day.
