Supporting Australian Values

Our program provides the opportunity to engage with a forward thinking Australian agenda which acknowledges our nation's diversity, achievements, its past and its future.

First Nations People

Our nation’s past began more than 65,000 years ago, with the First Australians, the world’s oldest continual culture.

The NSW Government and Australia Day Council of NSW continually strive to ensure First Nations culture and involvement is at the forefront as we evolve and develop an inclusive and respectful Australia Day program.

Australia Day is an opportunity for us to listen, learn and gain a better understanding of Australia’s First Peoples, their culture and heritage as we continue to work towards reconciliation. In order for our program to be authentic, we seek the guidance of First Nations representatives.

Australia Day in NSW continues to be strengthened through the ongoing collaborations with the many First Nations representatives who guide and support the program.

Invest in our program

As the business network that supports Australia Day in NSW, all revenue generated through Corporate Club Australia contributes to the broader Australia Day program.

All Australia Day in NSW public events are free to attend, which ensures everyone has the opportunity to participate and enjoy the day.

We welcome over 400,000 people to the Sydney CBD and Sydney Harbour to connect and experience an inspirational program.

We invite new sponsors to support our vision for Australia Day and embrace the values that underpin our national day – values that include respect, diversity and inclusion.
