Woollahra Council will be hosting a special Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony for conferees and guests which includes a Welcome to Country, a performance by local Aboriginal dance group, an Address by our Australia Day Ambassador, the granting of citizenship to conferees and a small reception (Covid-safe) for all guests.

The Welcome to Country and performance will be filmed for future use by Woollahra Council at citizenship ceremonies and will be incorporated into a longer educational video piece for wider application within our community. This is the first in-person event we have been able to host during the pandemic as we had to move our events online.

This event in the new year provides the ideal opportunity to celebrate recovery and to build on the strength of our community connections, within a culturally enriched event.

Reflect. Respect. Celebrate. We're all part of the story.
