Join the Bonalbo community to celebrate Australia Day.

Australia Day for West of the Range will be held at the rear of the Bonalbo Bowling and Recreation Club commencing at 10:00 AM.

Sadly we have had to impose a limit for participants to 100 people due to COVID-19 but the day will be held outside under gazebos. Social distancing will be encouraged with hand sanitizer and free masks be handed out to all who attend.

The free sausage sizzle will start shortly after 10:00 AM. Free water is available to and ice blocks will be given to children.

Our events which are usually Ambrose Golf, Barefoot Bowls and Rubber Boot throwing will still be able to go ahead at this stage.

The swimming pool will also be open free of charge and the Bowling Club facilities will be available but adherence to their COVID-19 practices is required.

The day is a day for celebration and for the sharing of life's stories. The great Australian storytelling culture is part of our identity. Come and enjoy our speakers; our local Dr Brian Pezutti, and our community champions who will receive awards at 1:00 PM in recognition of their laborious commitments to life in this great nation we all call home.

This event is delivered by the Kyogle Shire West of the Range Australia Day Committee Inc on behalf of Kyogle  Council.

Please note: Occupiers of premises or event organisers are responsible for adhering to any relevant public health orders, as well as preparing and implementing a COVID Safety Plan (if required). For the most up to date information about this event, please refer to the event organiser's website.
