Wentworth Shire Council will hold its Australia Day Awards & Citizenship Ceremony on 25 January 2023 at the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club in Dareton from 6:30pm.
You are invited to join us as we celebrate those nominated for their dedication to Sports, the Environment and the Community and welcome our newest citizens to the Wentworth Shire.
In attendance will be 2023 Australia Day Ambassador, Dr Clio Cresswell. Dr Cresswell has research interests that focus on the evolution of mathematical thought and the role of mathematics in society. She is the celebrated author of Mathematics and Sex; known for seeing the connecting themes across spectrums. Clio has delivered 2(two) TEDx presentations, one in the Sydney Opera House and one in Budapest.
Wentworth Shire will publicise all award winners at www.wentworth.nsw.gov.au after the awards ceremony.
