Join the Inverell community at Victoria Park to celebrate Australia Day with a BBQ breakfast and official ceremony.

Start your day with a delicious BBQ breakfast from Inverell-Macintyre Lions Club (gold coin donation) and performance by the Inverell Pipe Band. Breakfast starts 7:30 AM.

The official ceremony kicks off at 8:15 AM with speeches, performance from Danthonia Youth Choir, awards ceremony for Young Citizen and Citizen of the Year.

The Australia Day message will be delivered from Australian Water Polo player, Elysha O’Neill, and a Citizenship Ceremony will be held.

This is a COVID Safe event. All attendees will be required to obtain a ticket at the gate and sign in electronically prior to entering. 

This event is delivered by Inverell Shire Council
