Gilgandra Australia Day celebration

The Gilgandra Australia Day celebration is  a local family friendly event that celebrates the local Australia Day award recipients in a relaxed and inclusive setting in Hunter Park.

Enjoy breakfast from our local community groups, listen to the address of our 2021 Australia Day ambassador Zoe Naylor and help celebrate the achievements of our community.

At the conclusion of the awards ceremony, join the official opening of the Peter Veness Skate Park. 

Finish your day with a dip in the Gilgandra Swimming Pool.

Please note: The Gilgandra celebrations are held in an outdoor environment which will be set-up in accordance with the applicable NSW restrictions at the time. All attendees will be required to sign in and hand sanitiser will be provided.
