Free community BBQ breakfast and family fun day at the Botanic Gardens.

Celebrate Australia Day with a family friendly community event at the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens from 7:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The morning will include live entertainment and a free BBQ breakfast with halal and vegetarian options available.

The Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony will take place from 9am with the Mayor of Wagga Wagga welcoming our newest Australian citizens to Australia. Enjoy a performance from the Australian Army Band Kapooka and the National Anthem Competition Finalists. 

Tickets will be available at both entrances from 7:00 AM. 

This event is delivered by Wagga Wagga City Council
