Australia Day Commemoration & Awards Presentation

The Rock Recreation Ground Management Committee are hosting a free breakfast from 8.00am, which will be followed by the Australia Day Awards presentation at 10.00am.

Australia Day Ambassador, Craig Goozee OAM, will give an address as part of the official proceedings.

At the close of the awards presentation, The Rock Memorial Swimming Pool will be offering free entry and will have the inflatable available, providing great fun for families.

As the Awards presentation will be held inside, it is requested that people who are unwell with cold and/or flu-like symptoms do not attend. 

Official Proceedings include: Acknowledgment of Country, Official Welcome by the Mayor, National Anthem Sung, Ambassadorial Address by Craig Goozee OAM, presentation of Australia Day Awards, and Citizen of the Year Award.
