Lithgow City Council Mayor Ray Thompson will be presenting the NSW Local Citizenship Awards and welcoming our newest Australian Citizens to Lithgow.

Giving the official Australia Day speech will be the Australia Day Ambassador, Peter McLean. Entertainment will be provided by the Lithgow City Band and Lithgow Highland Pipe Band.

A free sausage sizzle and delicious damper and cakes will be provided. 

Wallerawang - From 10:30am onwards, Wallerawang Community & Sports Club 

Wallerawang will host a festival of fun for all the family with music, mural painting, a giant slide, children’s activities, wood chopping, BBQ, performances and more.

The official ceremony to recognise the Wallerawang community commences at 1:30 PM with an address by the Australia Day Ambassador. 

COVID Safe measures will be in place for both sites. All guests will be required to register their attendance.
