Narrabri Shire invites the community to join them to celebrate Australia Day on Tuesday 26 January with events across the Shire.
Meet our Australia Day Ambassador John Harper, wheat and sheep farmer from Southern NSW who started Mate Helping Mate, a mental health podcast from the bush.
Boggabri from 7:30 AM
Come down to Boggabri HACC Building for free breakfast followed by an Australia Day Ceremony at 8:30 AM.
Narrabri from 11:30 AM
Come down to the Crossing Theatre Auditorium. A formal awards ceremony will commence at 12 noon, followed by a free light lunch and musical entertainment at Narrabri pool from 2:00 PM.
Wee Waa from 4:00 PM
Come down to the Namoi Echo Museum for a free sausage sizzle and vintage car display.
Free entry to all pools
There will be FREE entry to all Narrabri Shire Pools on Australia Day, public holiday hours apply.
