Celebrate Australia Day in Inverell at Victoria Park. Enjoy a free BBQ breakfast supplied by the Inverell-Macintyre Lions Club and live entertainment by the Inverell Pipe Band.
The official ceremony will begin at 8:30am with speeches and a performance by the Danthonia Choir.
The ceremony will include the singing of the national anthem, Flag Raising and the presentation of Australia Day awards, including awards for citizen of the year, young citizen and community event.
Australia Day is a time to reflect on this nation's journey. To acknowledge the past, rejoice in the present, and look confidently to the future.
