A fleet of yachts, powerful tugboats, jet skis and ferries will treat spectators to a dance which is truly one of a kind.

Choreographed to classical music, the vessels will manoeuvre in unison in an amazing show of maritime grace and movement. Hickson Road Reserve, Overseas Passenger Terminal wharf and Circular Quay are the best spots to see and hear this unique spectacle.

Dos and don'ts

DO NOT BYO. BYO alcohol and glass are not permitted in Bradfield Park in North Sydney, Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay, including the Overseas Passenger Terminal and Dawes Point.

Public transport

Plan ahead and leave the car at home. The best way to get around on Australia Day is by public transport using an Opal Card.
