Explore the grand interiors of one of Australia’s finest examples of Gothic Revival architecture, relax in the beautiful surrounding gardens, and enjoy displays and activities organised by community organisations.
His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), Governor of NSW, and Mrs Linda Hurley invite you to explore Government House and relax in the gardens.

Musical entertainment will be provided courtesy of the NSW Fire Brigade Band and the NSW Police Band.
Guides will be on hand to answer questions about the history of this stately residence. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll through the Harbour-side property’s beautiful gardens or picnic on the lawns.

Purchase food and non-alcoholic drinks from the State Emergency Services of NSW's sausage sizzle.
You can also bring your own food and picnic in the grounds.
