Welcome to Oz! Join the Lord Mayor of Sydney in welcoming our newest Australians citizens at the City of Sydney’s citizenship ceremony on the Tallawoladah Stage, next to the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

To participate in a citizenship ceremony on our national day is considered by many as an incredible honour and privilege.

Set alongside Circular Quay with Sydney Harbour forming an iconic backdrop, incoming citizens will be asked to take a pledge of commitment to Australia before being presented with a citizenship certificate.

Concluding the ceremony, all citizens and spectators will be invited to sing Australia's national anthem.

This event is part of the Sydney Harbour program brought to you by P&O Cruises.

Plan ahead

Leave the car at home. Extra public transport services are running to help you travel to and from Australia Day celebrations. Plan your trip at transportnsw.info.
