Join the Lord Mayor of Sydney in welcoming our newest Australians citizens at the City of Sydney’s citizenship ceremony on the Tallawoladah Stage, next to the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Experience stories, music, song and dance with the Koomurri Aboriginal Dance Troupe on the Tallawoladah Stage, next to the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Fold your way to zen and take your masterpiece with you.
Head to the Arrivals Hall of the Overseas Passenger Terminal to get out of the sun and join the free origami workshops.
Workshops will run continuously so no bookings are required. Just grab a seat when the next session starts.
Russ the Story Bus (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
Russ the Story Bus is no ordinary bus! His belly is full of books and his exterior is covered with illustrations from Sophie Beer's Love makes a family. Russ the Story Bus is a creative space where children can browse bookshelves full of the latest children’s books, read and listen to stories. Come inside Russ the Story Bus and find a great book to read and relax with.
Turban Fest (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
Get wrapped up in swathes of silk and learn the art of turban twisting at the Cargo Hall in the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Let Turbans 4 Australia share the significance of the turban for Sikh communities.
Temporary tattoos (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
Show off your guns and get a free Australian flag tattoo at the stall inside the Arrivals Hall at the Overseas Passenger Terminal.
Selfies (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
Go all Hollywood and get your photo taken with giant, green and gold ‘A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A’ letters.
Gourmet food (10:00 AM to 9:00 PM)

DISABILITY AND MOBILITY SUPPORT
Until 5pm, a designated accessible viewing area is available at the Overseas Passenger Terminal for guests with disability or mobility requirements.
From 5pm, the accessible viewing area will be made available for pre-registered accessible guests only. If you would like to access this area after 5pm please register below.
Leave the car at home. Extra public transport services are running to help you travel to and from Australia Day celebrations. Plan your trip at transportnsw.info.
To support the celebrations, road closures will be in place.
Be sun safe, eat well, drink plenty of water and wear appropriate clothing for summer weather conditions.
There is no BYO alcohol and no glass allowed at the Rocks, Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay, Hickson Road Reserve, Circular Quay East, Darling Harbour, and Bradfield Park in North Sydney.
