Our official event kick's off with an Australian citizenship ceremony and the presentation of the Australia Day awards at the Camden Civic Centre from 9am.

Camden's Australia Day ambassador, former marathon swimmer Susie Maroney OAM, will address the crowd and assist our mayor with the presentations.

Over on John Street, Camden, our community event celebrations begin at 9am with a range of fun activities planned including free Australian tattoo's, free face painting, Koala cupcake making workshops,  cork hat making workshops, thong throwing competition as well as live entertainment and food stalls.

Taking centre stage at 11:15am the Macarthur Lions Street Parade will commence along Argyle Street with up to 70 floats taking part in the annual tradition.
