Sample Sydney - Susannah Place Museum

Location: 58–64 Gloucester Street, The Rocks, Sydney
Begins: 2:00 PM

To celebrate Australia Day we’re offering concession entry to all Historic Houses Trust properties.

Plus, visit a Historic Houses Trust property on Australia Day and receive a special offer for a return visit to any of our properties.*

Many working-class families lived in The Rocks, with tiny backyards, outdoor baths and the occasional rat plague. Susannah Place has been home to more than 100 families. Learn their stories in this original terrace of four houses that have survived modern development. Don’t forget to pick up a unique souvenir at the delightful re-created 1915 corner shop.
