Darling Harbour Australia Day Spectacular

The Darling Harbour Australia Day Spectacular will be a stunning multimedia symphony of light and music, culminating in a fireworks extravaganza over Cockle Bay on Saturday 26 January.
Best vantage point via water: The best vantage points to view the fireworks are in Darling Harbour, outside the exclusion zones and out on the main channels near Goat Island.
On Friday 25 January from 8am - 9pm various boats will be working in the bay and from 9am firework pontoons will be moored in the centre of bay, getting ready for the Spectacular the next day.
On Saturday 26 January from 9am Cockle Bay and Marina will be closed until 11pm for all private vessels. At 3pm a Full bay closure (including public Marina) to all vessels including ferries will be active until 10pm. Access to ticket office is permitted until 5pm with Cockle Bay and Marina re-opening at 11pm.
The Australia Day Ceremony starts at 7pm with the Australia Day Specutacular starting at approx 8.45pm. It all take place in Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour.
