NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet

The Australia Day Council of NSW is the body appointed by the Premier of NSW to lead the continued development of Australia Day celebrations throughout the State.

The Department of Premier and Cabinet’s, Community Engagement and Events Division provide the secretariat from which the Australia Day Council of NSW operates.

The Australia Day Council of NSW is considered the premier organisation in Australia delivering events and programs which celebrate being Australian – and invites everyone across the state to celebrate Australia Day on 26 January.
