Thanks to the support from Australia Post, the Australia Day Council of NSW will be providing all NSW communities with certificates for the award recipients of:

• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year and;
• Community Event of the Year

NSW Citizen of the Year recipients will also have the opportunity to receive a very special memento. Australia Post will be producing for any Council who wishes to participate, a commemorative stamp sheet that will feature their Council's Citizen of the Year recipient. Please note each individual Council has their own award guidelines and nomination process.
